Acts Disturbing the Public
Article 546 – Anyone who, contrary to usual practice, causes noise or uproar by ringing bells or other instruments, or engages in a noisy profession or craft in violation of laws and regulations, thereby disturbing the public or the peace and comfort of assemblies and gatherings, shall be punished with a monetary fine of up to fifteen lira.
If this act is committed after two hours before midnight, the monetary fine increases up to thirty lira.
CHAPTER TWO
Negligence in Building Demolition and Repairs
Article 552 – If a building, in whose planning or construction a person has participated, collapses without endangering others due to that person's carelessness or incompetence, that person shall be sentenced to a monetary fine not less than twenty-five lira, and in addition, a penalty for suspension of profession or craft may also be imposed.
The provisions of this article also apply to the collapse of scaffolds and bridges used for construction and repair.
CHAPTER FOUR
Throwing Objects
Article 558 – Anyone who throws or spills anything that may injure a person or soil their clothing in public places or common courtyards of several families shall be punished with light imprisonment up to ten days or a monetary fine up to ten lira.
Article 559 – Anyone who, without taking necessary precautions, places or throws objects on windows, roofs, balconies, or similar places over streets and alleys frequented by the public, which may injure or soil passersby, shall be punished with a monetary fine up to ten lira.
If the offender is unknown, the penalty shall be imposed on the building manager or custodian, provided they have the authority to prevent the act.
